Most North Americans may be saying "How could anyone eradicate a language, let alone the one most widely spoken on the continent?". Well, through the use of restrictive language laws, selectively enforced, the Quebec government is doing a pretty good job. What are we really doing here, though? We want to get the following message across to everyone. "No one has the right to tell you what language to speak, or write, or think!" It's that simple.
